Wetenschappers hebben moeite om hun werk te rechtvaardigen. Ze wijzen soms op de relevantie voor beleid ook al kunnen ze die relevantie niet aantonen. Ze wijzen op de mogelijke commerciële toepassingen ook al zijn dat soort directe toepassingen zeldzaam. We kunnen wijzen op het onderwijs dat we geven en dat moet toch wel ergens goed [...]
